Shura Lipovsky

As a storyteller, Shura Lipovsky has a theatre-program with Hassidic stories and Yiddish songs called « Buiten Eden » (Outside of Eden). She performed this program in the Netherlands, Britain, Germany, the United States, Portugal and Sweden, telling the stories alternately in Dutch, German, Yiddish and English.

'Outside of Eden’ had been directed by the Dutch opera director Cilia Hogerzeil and has been accompanied by accordeonist Bart Lelivelt and since 2012 by pianist/conductor Tamir Chasson.

Tamir Chasson

Tamir Chasson has an impressive reputation as a conductor and pianist. He is also a vocal coach. He is a graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia, USA) and was awarded the Gary Bertini Award for young conductors. Under the guidance of Maestro Helmuth Rilling, he conducted Verdi's Requiem, Beethoven's Fidelio and Missa Solemnis in the European Music Festival in Stuttgart. He performed in recitals in New York, Philadelphia, Zurich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and in Israel.

Recently he was the artistic and musical director of the production "Night at the Museum" at the Haarlem Opera.

Bart Lelivelt

Bart Lelivelt studied accordion with Miny Dekkers, taught at the Academy of Arts and currently teaches at the Municipal School Music in Arnhem. He is also a guest professor in at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague.

He plays in the Baranà Trio and performed with singer Shura Lipovsky, plays contemporary chamber music with ensembles such as the Ives Ensemble and the Doelen Ensemble. He participated in several theater productions and performed at festivals in Amsterdam, Rome, Berlin and St. Petersburg.
